The European unicorns have an aggregate valuation of more than $34B. Almost one-third of them are fin tech companies.
Nr. 1 is Spotify with a valuation of 8.5 Billion $. The next three all come from Rocket Internet: Global Fashion Group with 3.4 Billion $, Delivery Hero with 3.1 Billion $ and HelloFresh with 2.9 Billion $.
There are now 138 ‘unicorns’ globally and they just crossed the 1/2 a trillion dollar mark, at least on paper.
